- Provides leadership, expertise, advisory and consultation services for information management and protection.
- Accountable for ensuring all information protection and security measures are in place for the creation, management, preservation and protection of all Treasury Board Secretariat records.
- Responsible for the planning, developing, directing, controlling and monitoring the Secretariat’s information management and protection program and policies along with implementing effective technology systems.
- Administers and ensures the Secretariat’s compliance with government-wide Information Management and Privacy legislation, including the Management of Information Act, the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act, 2015 and the Rooms Act.
