Shabogamo Lake Aeromagnetic Survey
Scale 1:50 000

M. Coyle and F. Kiss (Geological Survey of Canada)

A joint Open File release by the Geological Survey Division (Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources), the Direction Générale de Géologie Québec (Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune du Québec), and the Geological Survey of Canada (Natural Resources Canada).

This release comprises twenty-four, 1:50 000-scale aeromagnetic maps for 12 NTS map areas, covering a portion of western Labrador, north of Labrador City – Wabush and adjoining parts of Québec. Results are presented as two full-colour maps in pdf format for each map area: (i) Residual Total Magnetic Field and (ii) First Vertical Derivative of the Magnetic Field, for each NTS map area.

Eighteen of the maps for 9 NTS map areas (for Labrador) are available below; the full set is available on CD from the Geological Survey Division of the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Natural Resources and from the Natural Resources Canada – Geoscience Data Repository
