The purpose of Product Review is to determine the eligibility of commercially active producers in the craft and gift sectors for the department’s programs and provide constructive feedback to producers.
The Product Review Committee, consisting of representatives from the Department of Industry, Energy and Technology, the Craft Council of NL and the retail community, will review your products and promotional materials and provide feedback. Products will be assessed on design, quality, marketability and originality/authenticity.
YOUR SUBMISSION TO PRODUCT REVIEW MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Fully completed Product Review – Producer Application
- Samples of your product line
- Price lists (wholesale and/or retail)
- Sample of your promotional materials
Products and forms should be received two weeks prior to the Product Review meeting date and should be packed as they would be if you were shipping them to a customer.
