Database (Memoir 4) – Regional Geology of Eastern Labrador (Eastern Makkovik and Grenville Provinces)

Summary

This digital database provides the associated GIS layers, point databases and other ancillary files to accompany Memoir 4 (LAB/1752) and the 2010 pdf published 1:100 000-scale geological maps. Along with the Esri file geodatabases, twenty point databases (e.g., station and sample locations, geochronology sites, whole rock geochemistry, etc.) are provided as Excel tables and GIS shapefiles as these two formats are easily opened in many programs – details of these databases are given in Appendix 1 of the Memoir.

The ‘Readme’.rtf files below provide an overview of the data structure in that folder. Files that are less than 500 MB can be downloaded. Files that are larger than 500 MB are available on request through pub@gov.nl.ca.
