Provincial Parks

Newfoundland and Labrador features a network of 32 provincial parks that conserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of this place and provide opportunities for visitors to explore and embrace nature.  The Parks Division of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation is committed to the conservation and management of this network of parks.

Provincial parks facilitate camping and outdoor recreation, scientific research and monitoring, outdoor education, and sustainable tourism activities.  The benefits of the Province’s provincial parks extend beyond conservation and recreation to include physical and mental health, rural employment, tourism, ecosystem services, and climate change mitigation.
