At the national level, the average price decreased by 0.5% to $56,930 in January 2026. Newfoundland and Labrador had the third lowest average new motor vehicle price among provinces in January 2026, ahead of Prince Edward Island ($49,454) and Nova Scotia ($51,497).
At the national level, the number of sales decreased by 5.6% compared to January 2025, and the value of sales decreased by 6.1%.
