Responsibilities
- Assisting and advising the Treasury Board Committee of Cabinet, government departments, and agencies on all budget-related issues, with the aim of promoting sound financial management in the public sector;
- Preparing the province’s annual estimates and related documents;
- Preparing monthly monitoring and forecasting reports;
- Preparing multi-year expenditure plans;
- Preparing policies and making recommendations to Treasury Board on budget-related matters;
- Developing and implementing budget-related systems, policies, procedures; Providing financial advice to the Treasury Board, government departments and government-funded agencies.
