More on Labour Force Survey

Releases of survey data typically occur on the first Friday of each month. It is the only source of timely, monthly, labour market statistics that cover all the economy including the self-employed and people that work part-time. The survey also produces considerable data on education levels and age distribution of the labour force.

Media attention on the survey figures is high. Each month the release of the Labour Force Survey estimates is covered in the media.
