Conservation planning for Labrador will be undertaken through a collaborative process including all people of Labrador.

Labrador Nature Atlas

The Labrador Conservation Blueprint Project (2013) began as a collaboration between the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Nature Conservancy of Canada. The goal was to develop a conservation assessment and revise the natural region mapping for Labrador. This partnership expanded to include Environment Canada, Indigenous groups, and local groups with a common interest in biodiversity conservation and land-use planning.

The Labrador Conservation Blueprint Project resulted in the Labrador Nature Atlas. The Atlas provides a comprehensive picture of of the status of conservation and opportunities for protection in Labrador.
