Project Description:

The proponent proposes to clear an area of approximately 200 hectares for forage crops, utilizing poultry manure as fertilizer from their existing poultry farm at Musgravetown. The proposed site is located approximately 8 kilometres east of the TCH and 9 kilometres from the nearest community, Morley’s Siding.

• June 6, 2002 – The undertaking was registered.
• July 12, 2002 – Public comments were due.
• August 28, 2002 – The Minister releases the project from the environmental assessment process.
