Project Description:

The proponent proposes to harvest 120 hectares of mature black spruce forest located along the old Terra Nova Woods road west of Terra Nova Lake. The area is adjacent to previously harvested areas. Harvesting is tentatively scheduled to begin this summer.

• June 6, 2002 – The undertaking was registered.
• July 12, 2002 – Public comments were due.
• July 26, 2002 – The Minister releases the project from the environmental assessment process.
