Project Description:

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro propose to install (3) poles in the vicinity of Western Brook, a scheduled salmon river in Pistolet Bay on the Great Northern Peninsula. This work is required to provide electrical service to a cabin owner in this location.As the work is within 200 metres of the scheduled river, registration is required.

• July 15, 2002 – The undertaking was registered.
• August 20, 2002 – Public comments are due.
• August 28, 2002 – The Minister’s released the project from further environmental assessment.
