Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct and operate a nine (9) hole golf course off Route 235, between Princeton and Summerville, located on the Bonavista Peninsula. The proposed area for the golf course is approximately 29 hectares. The major physical features are: fairways, greens, clubhouse, power lines, three lodging units, maintenance building, access road and irrigation system. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin this fall.

• September 3, 2002 – The undertaking was registered.
• October 9, 2002 – Public comments were due.
• October 30, 2002 – The Minister released the project from further environmental assessment.
