Project Description:
The proponent proposes to harvest (6,086 m3) a small area in the Mount St Margaret District 17 operating area, where timber has been accessed but not harvested from the previous five year operating plan (1997 – 2002). There will also be some harvesting (20,310 m3) of Partition AAC. Partition stands are small, isolated timber stands that are scattered throughout the district. This is proposed as an integrated saw log/pulpwood operation.
- October 7, 2002 – The undertaking was registered.
- November 11, 2002 – Public comments are due.
- November 21, 2002 – The Minister’s decision was due.
- January 13, 2003 – The Minister releases the project from further environmental assessment.
