Project Description:
The proponent plans to upgrade an existing 0.5 kilometre All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) trail to accommodate summer 4-wheel drive access along a 4 metre wide right-of-way to a remote commercial lodge site at Phillips Brook / Fox Island River Area in western Newfoundland. Construction is planned for the fall of 2003.
- July 29, 2003 – The undertaking was registered.
- September 2, 2003 – Public comments are due.
- September 19, 2003 – The Minister released the project from further environmental assessment.
