Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct and operate a nine hole golf course along the south side of the saltwater body of Baie Verte, adjacent to the Copper Creek Mountain Ski Resort in the Town of Baie Verte. Also, 50 sites will be developed as a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Trailer Park and will utilize existing municipal water and sewer services in the area. Construction is anticipated to start the fall of 2003.

• August 28, 2003 – The undertaking was registered.
• October 3, 2003 – Public comments are due.
• October 14, 2003 – The Minister releases the project from further environmental assessment.
