Project Description:
The proponent plans an expansion of an existing family vacation resort with the addition of an 18 hole Pitch and Putt family recreational golf course. The golf course is adjacent to the Golden Sands Resort and the total area is 62 hectares. The course will have a registration office, pro shop, storage warehouse, irrigation system and a practice facility including a putting green. Construction is tentatively scheduled for the fall of 2004.
- October 9, 2003 – The undertaking was registered.
- November 18, 2003 – Public comments were due.
- November 19, 2003 – The Minister announced that the undertaking has been released from further environmental assessment.
