Project Description:

The proponent plans to establish and operate a motor vehicle salvage yard in the community of Comfort Cove-Newstead, Bay of Exploits. Construction will consist of a 9 metre x 12 metre wooden building on a 30 metre x 152 metre parcel of land. The operation will consist of storage of vehicles and removal of parts from vehicles for sale.

• May 26, 2004 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 30, 2004 – Public comments are due.
• July 14, 2004 – The Minister releases the project from further environmental assessment.
