Project Description:
The proponent plans to build a 576 square foot abattoir to process 100 to 150 beef cattle a year adjacent to his present farm house on Lundrigans Road, in Kilbride. The proponent also plans to retail the products at the site including operating a deli service. Construction is planned to start in July of 2004 and will take approximately 3 weeks to complete.
- June 1, 2004 – The undertaking was registered.
- July 5, 2004 – Public comments are due.
- July 16, 2004 – The Minister released the project from further environmental assessment.
