Project Description:

The proponent proposes to develop twenty (20) 2.4 acre rural residential building lots from the property currently known as Sharpe’s Farm. The project is situated on the north shore of the Humber River, adjacent to Humber Village, an existing private rural residential community. Access to the site will be via existing roads which will be upgraded as well as the construction of approximately 0.3 km’s of new road. Water will be supplied by individual artesian wells, and each property will have an on-site septic system.

• March 3, 2005 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 7, 2005 – Public comments are due.
• April 17, 2005 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• June 1, 2005 – The Minister announced the project has been released from further environmental assessment review.
