Project Description:
The proponent plans to construct a cleaning chemical manufacturing (mixing) facility in Donovan’s Industrial Park, Mount earl. The finished chemicals are to be used in food preparation facilities to clean, sanitize and disinfect processing equipment. The proposed two story 10,000 square foot building floor plan will include: an 8,000 square foot manufacturing area for staging and mixing chemical products, drum recycling and warehouse, and, 4,000 square foot office/showroom in the front of the building. Construction is planned for summer/fall of 2005.
- June 30, 2005 – The undertaking was registered.
- August 4, 2005 – Public comments are due.
- August 14, 2005 – The Minister’s decision is due.
- September 2, 2005 – The Minister announced the project has been released from further environmental assessment review.
