Project Description:

The proponent proposes to develop a 38 kilometre snowmobile trail from the Town of Holyrood to the City of St. John’s, then connecting to the railbed in Holyrood and continuing west to Goobies. The trail will be 5 metres wide constructed to national standards with proper signage to ensure safe public snowmobile travel. Portions of the trail will incorporate existing logging roads and existing agricultural fields.

• August 22, 2005 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 26 2005 – Public comments are due.
• October 6, 2005 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• December 14, 2006 – The Minister announced the proponent has withdrawn project.
