Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) trail to allow year round access to a remote cabin located on the North Branch of the Grand Codroy River , in southwestern Newfoundland . The trail will be approximately 1 kilometre long and spanning a width of 1.5 metres, would be located approximately 1.6 kilometres upstream of the joining of South Branch and North Branch for travel between the two rivers. The project was registered on May 11, 2006; public comments are due by June 20, 2006; and, the Minister’s decision is due by June 25, 2006.

• May 11, 2006 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 20, 2006 – Public comments are due.
• June 25 2006 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• July 12, 2006 – the Minister announced the project has been released from further environmental assessment review.
