Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct 7 kilometres of primary forest access roads in Forest Management District 16 near Little Davis Pond and Big Davis Pond. District 16 is located in the southeastern portion of the Great Northern Peninsula . Construction of the roads is planned for the Fall, 2006.

• August 25, 2006 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 29, 2006 – Public comments are due.
• October 9, 2006 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 20, 2006 – The Minister announced the project has been released from further environmental assessment review.
