Project Description:

It is proposed to develop a 2-cell aerated lagoon on a small peninsula of land approximately 80 metres from Route 100 that extends into Northeast Arm. In addition to the lagoon system the construction will consist of a 300m access road, lift station to pump the sewage up the slope, an outfall into Northeast arm, associated sewage mains and a disinfection system. Each cell will be 65 metres by 65 metres and 5 metres deep.

• February 15, 2007 – The undertaking was registered.
• March 22, 2007 – Public comments are due.
• April 1, 2007 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• April 11, 2007 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
• April 3, 2010 – The term of the Minister’s decision is expired.
