Project Description:

The proponent intends to amend the District 17 and 18 Crown 5 Year Operating Plans, located on the Great Northern Peninsula. The proposal includes construction of a number of primary roads throughout the 2 districts. The plan is to develop road infrastructure this year in preparation for the 2008 harvest season. The amendment also includes a proposed domestic harvest block near St. Anthony.

• February 23, 2007 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 3, 2007 – Public comments are due.
• April 9, 2007 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• May 1, 2007 – The Minister releases the project from further environmental assessment.
