The proponent proposes to expand their existing gravel pit by 5 hectares. The undertaking is located at Shallop Cove, St. George’s approximately 500 metres along the quarry access road off Route 461.

• May 9, 2007 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 15, 2007 – Public comments are due.
• June 22, 2007 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• July 4, 2007 – The Minister announced the project has been released from further environmental assessment review.
