Project Description:

The proposal is to construct a 167.3 metre rubble mound breakwater and a 50.3 metre wharf to increase berthing requirements and protection for marine vessels. Associated work will also include dredging, site access and upland development. Work is tentatively scheduled to commence November 2007 with completion in October 2009.

• August 8, 2007 – The undertaking was registered.
• September 17, 2007 – Public comments are due.
• September 22, 2007 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 1, 2007 – The Minister released the undertaking from further environmental assessment.
