Project Description:

The Badger Lake area is located between the communities of Badger and South Brook. The proposal is for 45 cottage lots, 22 on the northeastern shore of Paul ‘s Lake (middle region of Badger Lake ) and 23 lots on the northeastern shore of Joe ‘s Lake (southern region of Badger Lake ). The design consists of single tier recreational cottage developments. Construction will include gravel road development and upgrading, with cottage building to occur after the lots are sold.

• November 9, 2007 – The undertaking was registered.
• December 28, 2007 – Public comments are due.
• January 5, 2008 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• February 12, 2008 – The Minister releases the undertaking from environmental assessment subject to conditions.
