Project Description:

The proposal is to improve the underground salmon pool site at Beaver Brook, approximately 4 kilometres along the access road which intersects Route 433, approximately 3 kilometres from the Route 432 intersection. Construction will include upgrades to existing walking trails, construction of a looped trail walking trail around the site, 2 viewing areas, interpretive panels, an access bridge, and a rest and interpretation area along Route 432.

• February 27, 2008 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 2, 2008 – Public comments are due.
• April 12, 2008 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• June 20, 2008 – The Minister releases the project from further environmental assessment.
