Project Description:

The project is to include the construction of a grenade range and supporting infrastructure (throwing bays, tower, road and parking lot) at the existing Cambrai range near Makinsons. The entire area to be cleared is less than 0.5 hectares in size. The grenade range is required to meet operational training requirements for the Land Force Atlantic Area. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in the spring of this year.

The undertaking was registered on January 23, 2009; public comments are due by March 3, 2009, and, the minister’s decision is due by March 9, 2009.

• March 3, 2009 – Public comments are due.
• March 9, 2009 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• March 20, 2009 – The Minister released the undertaking.
