Project Description:

The proposal is to develop approximately 47 hectares of agricultural land within a 50 hectare Crown Land agricultural lease. The site is located off the Harcourt Resource Road, northwest Harcourt. The development will require removal of all vegetation, stumps and stones, as well as leveling, addition of soil amendments and planting of forage seeds. There is an existing access to the site. No buildings or other infrastructure will be constructed. Land clearing and development will take place in 2009 and will be developed over a 10 year period.

• February 20, 2009 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 1, 2009 – Public comments are due.
• April 6, 2009 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• April 17, 2009 – The Minister releases the undertaking.
