Project Description:
The proposal is to rebuild and relocate a portion of the electrical transmission line along Route 10 (Southern Shore Highway) in Bay Bulls. A seven kilometre section located between Bay Bulls Big Pond Substation and Dump Road in Bay Bulls is planned to be rebuilt. The proposed transmission line will be of a single wooden pole configuration with approximately 70 metre spacing and pole heights ranging 12 to 16 metres high. Construction will include brush clearing, installation of new poles and stringing new conductor lines.

- March 8, 2010 – Public comments are due.
- March 14, 2010 – The Minister’s decision is due.
