Project Description:

The proponent proposes to quarry approximately 25, 865 tonnes of gravel over a two year period from a previously existing quarry located approximately 4.6 kilometres east of the Margaree intersection on Route 470 on the southwest coast of Newfoundland. The material will be used as fill at two properties located at Margaree. There will be no buildings or structures constructed on the site.

• April 13, 2010 – The undertaking was registered.
• May 21, 2010 – Public comments are due.
• May 28, 2010 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• June 2, 2010 – The project was released.
