Project Description:
The proponent proposes a multi-purpose 10 kilometre trail from the intersection of Gapton’s Knob Trail to connect with Tobacco Road, then south to Fortune Brook across the Lamaline Highway, west to Burnt Hill Pond Ridge to connect to the existing Grassy Patch Trail. This development would complete the Multi-Purpose Trail Loop system from North West Pond Trail to Grassy Patch Trail. The development will be undertaken in three phases, with the first phase, trail from Dam Road to Tobacco Road, tentatively beginning in October 2011.

- July 20, 2010 – Public comments are due.
- July 25, 2010 – The Minister’s decision is due.
- August 24, 2010 – The undertaking was released.
