Project Description:

The proponent proposes to build an access road for a new cottage on Big Southwest Pond, near Greenspond, Bonavista Bay. The access road will be 550 metres long and will be located off Greenspond Road, approximately 7 kilometres past the junction of Highway Route 320 (to New-Wes-Valley). The proposed road will provide access to the western side of Big Southwest Pond for construction of a 1,000 to 1,500 square foot cottage. Construction is proposed to begin in the spring of 2011.

• September 11, 2010 – Public comments are due.
• September 19, 2010 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• October 13, 2010 – The undertaking was released.
