Project Description:
The proponent proposes the establishment of a 162 hectare cranberry farm on the south side of Route 350 near Peters Pond, Bishop’s Falls. The farm layout/construction will avail of a sand source only 2 kilometres away; irrigation pond for water storage; sediment pond for discharge water; other water control structures; installation of drainage tile in the cranberry bed; berms around fields developed into roads approximately 1.8 to 2.4 metres wide to service the area; and approximately 20 centimetres of sand to be laid over the cranberry bed. The undertaking is scheduled is begin upon receipt of approval.

- September 28, 2012 – Undertaking withdrawn.
