Project Description:

The proposed undertaking consists of the clearing of approximately 16 hectares of land to be used to produce forage for sale to the local dairy industry. The site is located approximately one kilometre east of the community of New Harbour and one kilometre west of Route 80. The project is scheduled to commence with land clearing in the spring or fall of 2011 and will be developed over a five year period.

• December 9, 2010 – The undertaking was registered.
• January 19, 2011 – Public comments are due.
• January 22, 2011 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• February 15, 2011 – The undertaking was released.
