Project Description:

The proponent intends to establish a facility at building #772M located in the ArgentiaIndustrial Park to offer specialized training to pipe fitters. Trainees will be instructed injoining fiberglass reinforced polymer pipe sections using fiberglass and resins. The trainingprogram will operate for the duration of the construction phase at the Vale plant in LongHarbour, scheduled to be completed in February, 2013.

• October 3, 2011 – The undertaking was registered.
• November 7, 2011 – Public comments are due.
• November 14, 2011 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• November 22, 2011 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
