Project Description:

The proposed project involves the development of an abandoned 5.5 hectare gravel quarry located on Incinerator Road, Foxtrap; within the municipal boundary of the Town of Conception Bay South. The proposed quarry will provide gravel and stone for the local market and will operate year round in accordance with demand for the product. The project is schedule to begin in April 2012.

• November 16, 2011 – The undertaking was registered.
• December 21, 2011 – Public comments are due.
• December 31, 2011 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• May 19, 2016 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
