Project Description:

The proposed project involves the extension of an existing quarry to a 5.6 hectare sand andgravel quarry located on Pissimere Pond Road, Traytown. The proposed quarry will providegravel and stone for the local market and will operate year round in accordance withdemand for the product. The project is scheduled to begin in April 2012.

• December 12, 2011 – The undertaking was registered.
• January 17, 2012 – Public comments are due.
• January 26, 2012 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• February 8, 2012 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
