Project Description:

The proposed project involves the development of a 10 hectare sand and gravel quarrylocated approximately four kilometres east of Terra Nova Village. The proposed quarry willprovide a supply of aggregates for asphalt production. The project is schedule to begin inMay 2012.

• March 14, 2012 – Public comments are due.
• March 23, 2012 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• April 19, 2012 – Project rejected.
