Project Description:

The proponent proposes to construct and develop 150 sites for a fully serviced RV park resort. This proposed project is located approximately 5 kilometres southeast of Brigus Junction. The park will be accessed via the Avondale Access Road (Route 63). The proposed development will cover approximately 13 hectares of land. The project will consist of the following: 150 lots, a trailer storage area, access road, water, sewage and electrical hook-ups, welcome centre and club house/recreation facility. The construction of the RV resort is schedule to begin in 2012 and be completed in 2014.

• February 14, 2012 – The undertaking was registered.
• March 21, 2012 – Public comments are due.
• March 30, 2012 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• May 31, 2012 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
