Project Description:

The proponent has submitted a proposal for the development of a four hectare gravel pit/quarry extension at the site of an existing quarry between Mint Brook Access Road and Mint Brook, approximately two kilometres from the Trans Canada Highway-Gambo Junction.Operations will include clearing, grubbing, quarrying and transport of aggregate. The proposed quarry will provide aggregate for use in the local area and work is scheduled to begin in the 2012 construction season.

• May 9, 2012 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 14, 2012 – Public comments are due.
• June 23, 2012 – The Minister’s decision is due.
• July 5, 2012 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
