Project Description:

The proponent intends to develop approximately 244 hectares of land to be used to grow sods and vegetable crops. The site is located inside the municipal planning area of the town of Northern Arm. Land suitable for these crops will be developed over a period of 7 to 10 years, land deemed not suitable will be left in its natural state. This is an extension to an existing farm. Development is proposed to begin in April 2013, upon receipt of all required permits and approvals.

• December 27, 2012 — The undertaking was registered.
• February 6, 2013 — Public comments are due.
• February 10, 2013 — The Minister’s decision is due.
• February 19, 2013 — The Minister announced that the project is released.
