Project Description:

The proponent has submitted a proposal to develop a recreational vehicle (RV) campingfacility in Tors Cove, approximately one kilometre south of the Beach Cove Road in TorsCove. The proponent has applied for 27 hectares of crown land and when developed willinclude 60 fully serviced sites and 20 tenting sites. The project will involve the constructionof an eight metre by nine metre administration building with laundry facility and a onekilometre road. This RV park will provide tourists with accommodations in the Tors CoveArea. Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2013.

• May 8, 2013 – The undertaking was registered.
• June 13, 2013 – Deadline for public comments.
• June 22, 2013 – The minister’s decision is due.
• July 19, 2013 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
