Project Description:

The undertaking consists of the development of five new cottage lots along the eastern sideof Indian River on the Baie Verte Peninsula. The area is accessed by current cottage owners via the abandoned Trans Canada Highway, approximately 7.5 kilometres northeast of the Baie Verte Junction. The development is a joint effort among family members to secure cottage lots for leisure and recreation. Construction is scheduled for the summer of 2014.

• October 25, 2013 – The undertaking was registered.
• November 29, 2013 – Deadline for public comments.
• December 9, 2013 – The minister’s decision is due.
• February 6, 2014 – The Minister has announced that the project is released.
