Project Description:

The proponent proposes to modify and construct a ten kilometre all-terrain vehicle (ATV)trail using two existing approved ATV trails with additional routing through established seasonal/snowmobile trails. The trail will begin at an existing ATV access point located approximately four kilometres west on the White Hills woods road near Clarenville. The trail will continue to the Sleigh Pond area. The purpose for the ATV trail is to access the Sleigh Pond cabin owners’ remote cabins and traditional hunting, fishing and trapping areas.

• March 21, 2014 – The undertaking was registered.
• April 28, 2014 – Deadline for public comments.
• May 5, 2014 – The minister’s decision is due.
