Project Description:

The proponent has submitted a proposal to develop a five hectare gravel, sand, rock and pit run quarry located approximately five kilometres west of the Town of St. Lawrence on Route 220.  This proposal will require construction of a 500 metre access road and is proposed to operate seasonally from April to December. No blasting or drilling activities are anticipated.

• February 17, 2017 – The undertaking was registered.
• March 28, 2017 – Deadline for public comments.
• April 3, 2017 – The Minister’s Decision is due.
• June 29, 2017 – The Minister announced that the project is released.
