Project Description:
The proponent has submitted a proposal to open a microbrewery at 35 Southside Road in Petty Harbour. The microbrewery would be located in a portion of a leased, 650 square meter building owned by the Fisherman’s Co-Op. The building is also occupied by the Petty Harbour Mini Aquarium and office space. The microbrewery will produce 10 barrels (or approximately 12 hectolitres) per batch, with approximately six brew days per month.
The undertaking was registered on May 1, 2017; the deadline for public comments is June 8, 2017; and the minister’s decision is due by June 15, 2017.
